Badger really digs getting kids and Cubs excited about paddling and the outdoors. That’s why our Cub WaterColours™ paddles come in natural and a bunch of bright COLOURS too!

All our vibrant WaterColours tints are water-based, nontoxic and fun! Choose from Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, Turquoise, Orange ,Yellow, and more. There are lots of other variations are available as well. Please note: Colour depth may vary due to the natural character of wood grain. Just like kids — no two are alike!

Children often have a long reach to the water from a canoe. That’s why our Cub canoe paddles are available in a 48″ length, designed for a more comfortable and confidence-building paddling experience. Need something shorter? A 46″ option is also available by special order.

Our Cub paddles and Cub WaterColours are varnished (not oiled).

Also, please be aware that marine-varnish is known to yellow with age, which can alter the colour of the paddle over time. If you have a specific colour in mind that you wish to keep to, please mention this to us upon order as a water-based varnish finish may be a better option for colour trueness. Our Hand-rubbed Oil Finish is not available for kid’s laminated paddles.
