Since 1985, Ottawa Valley Canoe & Kayak has been helping people gear up and get out on the water. Family-owned and proudly local, we’re located right beside the Mississippi River, just west of Kanata on Old Highway 17, perfectly placed for paddlers heading into the Ottawa Valley, Lanark Highlands, or deeper into Ontario’s world-class backcountry of Algonquin and Temagami.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet paddle on a local river, a canoe to bring on a family camping trip, or equipment for a full expedition, we’re here to help you make it happen. From first-timers to seasoned trippers, our customers trust us for reliable gear, and honest advice.

You can spot our canoe racks right from the new Highway 417, but you need to take Exit 169 (Kinburn Side Road) to reach our yard. We are located on Old Highway 17 in Kinburn at the Mississipi River, right on your way to Arnprior and the Ottawa Valley.
