    Operating the Pedal Drive in Shallow Water

    Pedal drive units give you effortless forward and reverse control with your hands completely free to fish. However, the drive must be raised and locked flat before you approach shallow shorelines, boat launches, or submerged timber to prevent damaging the props or fins.

    Equipment must be returned clean and free of mud, bait, and fish residue, or a minimum $60.00 cleaning charge will apply. Please rinse out the footwells and storage wells before returning the boat.

    Fishing kayaks are wider and heavier than standard recreational boats. We provide custom-height foam blocks and camlock straps to safely rig vehicles with or without roof racks. Pickup trucks with open beds are also suitable when properly flagged. Ratchet straps are strictly prohibited.

    Standard fishing kayaks require a $300.00 deposit, while Pedal Kayaks require a $1,000.00 deposit. Reservations require a 1-day charge in advance.
